Toronto (Canada) / Dungarvan (Ireland), April 20, 2016 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) announced today a new funding incentive for the development of audiovisual projects. A total of CAD$200,000 is being made available to support Irish and Canadian producers to develop coproductions for broadcast on Irish and Canadian television services.

Wednesday, October 14, 2015 - Today at the Power to the Pixel conference in London, the Canada Media Fund and the Australian Government through Screen Australia announced a near CAD$800,000* incentive specifically for digital interactive works.

Toronto (Canada)/Wellington (New Zealand), September 21, 2015 – Today, the Canada Media Fund (CMF) and NZ On Air (New Zealand) announced the renewal of their joint incentive for digital media coproduction. The total amount of funding available is $1M (CAD), with $500,000 contributed by each the CMF and NZ On Air to fund up to 3 eligible projects. The total maximum contribution for each funded project shall be CDN $400,000.

Montréal (Canada)/Mons (Belgium), June 3, 2015 – Today, at the Coming to Your Screens conference in Montréal, the Canada Media Fund (CMF) announced the renewal of its joint incentive with Wallimage (Wallonia, Belgium) for digital media coproductions among producers in both countries. The first agreement in 2014 supported three coproductions through a financing package totalling C$600,000.

Toronto, April 28, 2015 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the Italian Directorate General for Cinema of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism (DGC - MiBACT) announced today an agreement to establish an incentive for codevelopment of documentary projects between producers in both countries.
