Saint-Sauveur, Québec, April 18, 2019 — The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the Quebecor Fund yesterday announced the launch of a new partnership program to support the budget increase of French drama series in Québec intended for international markets. The announcement took place at the Annual General Assembly of the Association québécoise de la production médiatique (AQPM).

Toronto, March 18, 2019 – The Canada Media Fund (CMF) today announced the results of its partnerships with two international funding organisations. Through individual collaborations with the Danish Film Institute (DFI) and New Zealand’s NZ On Air, six projects will receive investments totalling over CAD$1M.

Toronto, March 13, 2019 - The Canada Media Fund (CMF) will hold a webcast to provide an overview of changes to the 2019-2020 programs budget, guidelines and deadlines. The English webcast will be hosted by the CMF's Nathalie Clermont, Vice-President, Programs and Business Development, and Rod Butler, Director, Programs and Policies. The French webcast will be hosted by Ms. Clermont and Dominique Lapierre, National Director, CMF Program Administrator.

Toronto, February 28, 2019 — The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and Shaw Rocket Fund (SRF) today announced a new partnership to fund the production of Canadian digital animated series for children and youth audiences that encourages the use of new technology. Applications for financing in this Program must be submitted to SRF by April 10, 2019.

Futur et médias is an opportunity for listeners to better grasp the issues of the hour in these sectors through in-depth interviews with leading experts. Its first season will explore the following themes: digital distribution, podcasting, the blockchain, location-based virtual reality, youth content and data.
