Second Opening: **Due to a high demand for the English-language allocation of the Convergent Digital Media Incentive (“CDMI”), the CMF will no longer be accepting applications from producers who wish to receive funds for English-language productions as part of this program.**
The French-language allocation for CDMI will remain open until the Final Closing Date, or until funds for this program are depleted, whichever comes first.
The Convergent Digital Media Incentive is designed to encourage the production of Digital Media Components that are related to CMF-funded television productions in order provide the Canadian public with the opportunity to access their favourite content on different platforms for a truly convergent experience.
This incentive will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until resources for the incentive are depleted or until the application deadline, whichever comes first.
To access funding a project must meet all requirements set out in the 2016-2017 Guidelines. Only applications that meet all requirements will be considered.
