Created by Canada's cable and satellite distributors and the Government of Canada, the CMF aspires to connect Canadians to our creative expressions, to each other, and to the world.
Funding Model
The Canada Media Fund (CMF) delivers financial support to the Canadian television and digital media industries through two streams of funding.
The Experimental Stream encourages the development of innovative, interactive digital media content and software applications.
The Convergent Stream supports the creation of convergent television and digital media content for consumption by Canadians anytime, anywhere.
